Meeting with Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknat Shinde

The Indian Business Alliance President, Sammy Kotwani, recently had the opportunity to meet with the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Eknath Sindhe, to discuss some exciting developments.

During the meeting, Kotwani extended an invitation to Sindhe to attend the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is set to take place on June 14-17, 2023, in St. Petersburg. This invitation came from the Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir V Putin.

Additionally, the two discussed a program for cooperation between the Government of Moscow (Russian) and the Government of Maharashtra (Republic of India) for sister cities. This program covers various topics, such as trade and economic cooperation, urban planning and infrastructure, education, healthcare, culture, and tourism, among others.

Lastly, Mr. Kotwani and Sindhe talked about a forthcoming business event within the framework of the 24th session of the Russian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation.

Kotwani expressed his excitement for India and Russia to strengthen their partnerships and seize new opportunities. He promised to keep everyone updated on any new developments.
